Payday for Standard Chartered bosses

(ShareCast News) - Standard Chartered's top brass had a massive payday on Wednesday.Chief executive Bill Winters, executive director Mike Rees and finance director Andy Halford all took home their allocation of fixed pay allowance delivered in shares, which are being spread over a five year period.On top of that, Winter received an extra £6.5m worth of shares as compensation for the value of share interests in his previous firm which he forfeited when he joined the company in May.Chairman Sir John Peace was also given just under 20,000 shares as part of his base fee.Two members of Rotala's board have also cashed up.Chairman John Gunn and Geoffrey Flight have sold a small slice of their shares, making £80,400 and £67,000 respectively.It was the second lot of shares that Gunn had sold in the past seven days.
