Paul Harrison to succeed Seymour-Jackson as Michael Page chair

(Sharecast News) - Recruiter Michael Page said on Thursday that Paul Harrison will succeed Angela Seymour-Jackson as chair when she retires from the board.

Harrison - a non-executive director at Michael Page - brings more than 25 years of experience of serving on public company boards. His executive career has involved roles at several UK listed international technology and data driven companies. These included serving as chief financial officer of The Sage Group and Just Eat as well as chief operating officer of Ascential.

Harrison has been appointed chair-designate with immediate effect. He will take up the role of chair after an orderly handover of responsibilities with Seymour-Jackson, who will not stand for re-election at the annual general meeting next year.

Confirmation of timings will be announced in due course, the company said.

Seymour-Jackson said: "Having worked with Paul on the board he brings real understanding of recruitment services, extensive experience of data driven businesses, and a strong collaborative approach. I am confident he will prove to be an excellent chair."

At 1450 BST, the shares were up 0.2% at 219p.
