Origin Enterprises appoints Rose Hynes as non-exec chairman

(ShareCast News) - Origin Enterprises has appointed Rose Hynes as non-executive chairman effective immediately.Hynes will replace Owen Killian, who is stepping down from the role, while Patrick McEniff is stepping down as non-executive director.Hynes is the senior independent director of Total Produce, One Fifty One and Mincon plc. She is also chairman of Shannon Group.Previously, she was chairman of Ervia and non-executive director of Aer Lingus, Fyffes and Bank of Ireland.Hynes said: "I am delighted to be invited to take up the role of chairman. I look forward to working with the board, management and employees in the delivery of strategy and maximisation of shareholder value."At 1553 BST, Origin shares were 0.7% lower at 6.70p.
