(ShareCast News) - Shares in One Media IP Group jumped over 7% early on Thursday after the media intellectual property group said it acquired the Alan Peters Music Masters Catalogue for £35,000.In short statement, the London-listed company confirmed the deal also includes the revenue and licences controlled by Classic Hits 2000 and Golden Archive.The catalogue comprises classical music performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, traditional Christmas music from St. Paul's Cathedral, military marching music performed by H.M. Coldstream Guards and musical renditions of the Scottish Pipes & Drums."We have had the Alan Peters music catalogue under license since 2007," said group chief executive and chairman Michael Infante."They sit well alongside our recently acquired Point Classics catalogue."One Media's policy of acquiring music from its licensors, thus increasing profitability in onward royalty commitments has proved to be a benefit to the company."One Media IP shares were up 7.14% to 7.50p at 1015 BST on Thursday.
