MySale disposes of principal UK trading site

(Sharecast News) - Online retailer MySale has agreed to sell the trade and assets of its Cocosa.co.uk unit to Brandalley for a total of £1.5m.The decision to dispose of Cocosa.co.uk, MySale's main trading website in the UK, forms part of the AIM-listed group's rationalisation programme, which includes an increased focus on the Australia and New Zealand region.Completion of the sale agreement will take place on 9 May.Chief executive Carl Jackson said: "This disposal represents a key step in accelerating our 'ANZ First' strategy, which looks to optimise our scale, resources and market position in the region."With this more streamlined and focused approach, we can provide an improved offering for both our customers and brand partners."As of 0840 BST, MySale shares had picked up 2.76% to 13.95p.
