Morrison Supermarket's said an employee was arrested on Monday morning for allegedly stealing details of staff salary and bank accounts, which were published online last week.The supermarket chain is working in collaboration with West Yorkshire Police in the investigation of the claims.Morrisons discovered on Thursday that the payroll information of around 100,000 of its employees had been published online. The company today insisted there was no loss of customer data and was taking precautionary measure to ensure the protection of employees' personal information in future.The data was removed from the internet on Thursday as soon as it was discovered. It came the same day as Morrisons issued a profit warning and announced plans to slash prices to keep up with rival German discount chains, Aldi and Lidl. The news sent food retail stocks falling on Thursday.Shares fell 0.29% to 207.40p at 13:57 on Monday.RD
