(Sharecast News) - Mobile content and data intelligence specialist Mobile Streams updated the market on the progress of the audit, and the expected date of its audited results, for the year ended 30 June on Friday.

The AIM-traded firm said the process was "unfortunately" taking longer than anticipated.

It said the audited results for the 2022 financial year were now expected to be published on or before 30 December, as required by the AIM rules.

"The board is disappointed by the delays in preparation and publication of these accounts, which are now complete and awaiting completion of the final review by the company's auditor PKF Littlejohn," said chief executive officer Mark Epstein.

"For the avoidance of doubt no issues have arisen during the preparation and review of the accounts which would raise any concerns about the financial status of the business as a going concern.

"Our chief financial officer is working diligently with the board and auditors to ensure that the accounts are completed and published as soon as possible."

At 1229 GMT, shares in Mobile Streams were up 4.55% at 0.12p.
