DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Middle East investors are considering a strategic investment in BP PLC as the oil major continues to battle an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Abu Dhabi-based The National reports Sunday. BP's financial advisors in London have already received proposals from regional financial institutions, who are now awaiting a response, the daily reports, citing informed sources. Middle East investors would also consider buying key assets from BP, one of the sources said, according to the paper.
