Meggitt partners with Lufthansa Technik to provide aerospace services in China

(Sharecast News) - Aerospace, defence and energy components company Meggitt announced a new agreement with maintenance, repair and overhaul services provider Lufthansa Technik on Thursday.The FTSE 250 company said the deal would allow for the provision of comprehensive component maintenance, repair and overhaul services for commercial aircraft in mainland China."This is a long-term partnership for the fastest growing market in the world and combines Meggitt's OEM know-how with Lufthansa Technik's maintenance, repair and overhaul expertise," said Stewart Watson, president of Meggitt's services and support division."We have invested significantly in all our facilities across Asia as part of our global investment programme."Our ability to offer our Chinese customers an in-country capability will enhance the consistent, world-class levels of support we provide to our customers globally."
