Property holdings group Market Tech Holdings has signed three contracts related with the development of its Camden Markets portfolio.The group, which owns and manages the main Camden Markets properties in London, confirmed it had hired consultancy and construction firm Mace to oversee the redevelopment of Camden Lock Village.In a statement released on Tuesday, Market Holding added the project would include the delivery of 170 new private and affordable homes, retail and market spaces, office space and public space.Meanwhile, the group has also hired Piercy & Co as the architect tasked with handling the planning application for Camden Lock.Additionally, contractor McLaughlin & Harvey has been hired to build a junior primary school and nursery in the Camden Lock Village development.Market Tech said the school is expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2016-17 academic year."This is another milestone for Market Tech in delivering Camden Lock Village. Camden Lock Village is a truly unique development and will become a landmark destination," said group chief executive Charles Butler.Market Tech shares were up 0.70% to 252.75p at 11:01 on Tuesday.
