Those indicated to rise at least 2% include HSBC (0005.HK), MTRC (0066.HK), Sinopec (0386.HK), Li & Fung (0494.HK), PetroChina (0857.HK), Cnooc (0883.HK). Citic Pacific (0267.HK) quoted 1.5% higher to HK$15.00 on unit Daye Special Steel's (000708.SZ) positive profit alert. Overall, HSI looks set to rise today, marking 4th session of gains out of 5; some eye 250-day moving average at 20,917 as short-term target; closed down 0.2% at 20,431.06 Tuesday.
