1535 GMT [Dow Jones] Credit default swaps on oil and gas companies related to the Gulf of Mexico oil-spill disaster rose Monday after doubts emerged about BP's ability to completely contain the damage and federal authorities raised concerns about seepage on the nearby seabed. CDS On BP (BP.LN) widened to 368.5BP from 343.5Bp Friday night; Transocean Ltd. (RIG) moved to 406BP from 378.5BP; and Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC) deteriorated to 437.5BP from 413.5BP. CDS on Halliburton Co. (HAL) were flat at 144BP after the company reported better-than-expected second quarter earnings. (
