LiDCO appoints Shane Doorish as head of North America

(ShareCast News) - Hemodynamic monitoring company LiDCO announced the appointment of Shane Doorish as head of North America on Tuesday, with immediate effect.The AIM-traded firm said Doorish was bringing with him 19 years of experience in the healthcare sector having originally trained as a critical care nurse.It said that includes 12 years with Edwards Lifesciences, a major provider of hemodynamic monitoring, where Doorish held a number of sales and marketing positions.His last role with Edwards Lifesciences was as managing director of Canada.LiDCO's board said importantly for them, Doorish has an in-depth knowledge of the hemodynamic market and as such was well placed to be able to drive the company's expansion plans in North America."I am very pleased to have Shane joining the team, this is an important step in our expansion plans for North America," said chief executive Matt Sassone."His knowledge of the market and commercial skills are ideal to execute on LiDCO's plans to drive greater revenues from the world's largest hemodynamic market."
