(Sharecast News) - Leeds Group said first-half trading was in line with the board's expectations and that its operations were producing positive results.
The fabric importer and seller said its Hemmers and KMR trading operations were "not adversely affected" by Covid-19 in the first six months of the year.

"Although the pandemic is ongoing, the directors are satisfied that with the appropriate measures in place to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and recent restructuring, the businesses are now generating positive results," Chairman Jan Holmstrom said at Leeds's annual general meeting.

The AIM-traded company is based in Germany and was founded more than a century ago. Leeds used to manufacture textiles at factories in the UK, the Netherlands and Italy but with most fabric imported from Asia it concentrates solely on importing and selling material.
