LandSecs appoints London portfolio director

Robert Noel is to leave Great Portland Estates to join the board of rival property group Land Securities as managing director of LandSecs’ London portfolio.Noel steps into the shoes of Mike Hussey, who quit Land Securities in June after the company abandoned plans to demerge parts of the business.Last year Land Securities was planning to split into three individually quoted entities comprising its retail property portfolio, its London portfolio and Trillium, its outsourcing arm, but the plans were mothballed in November after the company posted a £1.7bn loss.Robert Noel has been Property Director of Great Portland Estates since 2002.
