(ShareCast News) - Technical services provider Keywords Studios expects to meet its annual goals, after reporting an increase in interim pre-tax profit.In the six months to 30 June, the group saw its pre-tax profit jump from €35,988 to €1.6m, as revenue surged 74.4% year-on-year to €23.9m on the back of continued organic growth and contributions from the Reverb and Alchemic Dream businesses, which were acquired in 2014.The group, which provides technical services for the videogame industry, said the acquisitions had been integrated successfully in the first six months of the year, adding it expects higher levels of activity in the second half."The rhythm of game production and release schedules has returned to a more normal pattern following the disruption caused by the release of new games consoles in November 2013," said group chief executive Andrew Day."As such, we are seeing a return to more traditional trading patterns in our audio, testing and localisation businesses."Day added the group was well placed for the second half and said the group expected full-year performances to be in line with expectations.Keywords shares were up 5.23% to 191.00p at 1131 BST on Tuesday.
