JZ Capital Partners announces co-investment in Illumination Investments

JZ Capital Partners announced a co-investment with Baird Capital Partners in Illumination Investments LLC, trading as Sloan LED, on Tuesday.The private equity firm has poured $4.9m into the LED lights and lighting systems manufacturer, although its stake in the company remains undisclosed."This acquisition expands our US portfolio of diverse, high-quality companies," said David Zalaznick, JZ's founder and investment adviser."We're excited to be invested in Sloan and look forward to working with management as they grow the business," he added.JZ shares were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 451p.
