ITV repays loan

ITV has repaid the remainder of its 2019 bilateral loan, the broadcaster said Thursday. The group repaid the remaining £62.4m and a loss of £30m with a one-off cash payment of £94.9m. Group Finance Director Ian Griffiths said: "This repayment is consistent with our aim to increase the efficiency of our balance sheet and to make the best use of our cash."Total savings in adjusted financing costs were expected to be around £44m over the remainder of the loan, equal to around £8m on an annualised basis.
