ITM appoints new Director of Engineering

ITM Power, the energy storage and clean fuel company, has appointed Dr Charles Johnstone as its Director of Engineering. Johnstone is a Chartered Engineer and is joining the company from Blanson, where he was Managing Director. He has a background in compliant product engineering and has worked in the past for Thule Automotive, CNR Design, Cambridge Consultants, GKN Automotive, British Gas Research & Technology and the University of Oxford. Chief Executive Officer of ITM Graham Cooley said: "Director of Engineering is a key role and I am delighted to have attracted an engineer of Charles's calibre. His experience in taking compliant products into production will be a great asset to us."The share price fell 3.57% to 54p by 13:49.NR
