(ShareCast News) - Imperial Innovations Group was looking forward to a cash windfall on Friday, as SIW Holdings sold its Stanmore Implants Worldwide business to Stryker Corporation for £35.6m.Through Imperial's interest in SIW Holdings, it will share in the net proceeds of around £4.8m once they have been distributed.The AIM-traded firm said prior to the sale, Imperial had a 16.4% interest in the company, resulting in a net fair value gain of around £1.4m from the transaction.Stanmore Implants is an orthopaedics company focused on the specialist design and manufacture of patient-specific implants for complex orthopaedic reconstructions.
