IG Group appoints FD

Spread bet group IG has appointed Christopher Hill as its new finance director. He starts in the role on 26 April next year. Hill, aged 39, is currently the chief financial officer of Travelex, a group providing cross-border payment and foreign exchange services to corporate and individual clients. He joined Travelex in 2007."We are delighted that Chris will be joining the Board. His recent experience in a rapidly growing international business will prove valuable to IG Group as we continue our strategy of geographic expansion," chairman Jonathan Davie said.
