(ShareCast News) - Supplier of software solutions and services Idox appointed a new chief operating officer as part of its growing trend of leadership development.Andrew Riley, who has been the managing director of the group's public sector software division for the last four years, was promoted to chief operating officer.Riley is the second director on the current board to be promoted.Chief executive Richard Kellett-Clarke said: "Andrew has created a strong tradition of delivering organic growth."I and the board see his promotion to the board as the opportunity to leverage his talents and to bring the business together as a single integrated unit."Riley holds 225,126 ordinary shares, which represent 0.06% of the group's issued share capital.Shares were down 1.3% to 38p on Monday at 16:18.
