HSBC terminates sale of Pakistani banking business

HSBC on Wednesday announced that its subsidiary HSBC Bank Middle East (HBME) has terminated the sale agreement of its banking business in Pakistan to JS Bank because regulatory approval was not received.HBME will explore alternative options for its banking business in Pakistan, it said.NR
