Gulf Keystone names YouGov co-founder as chief strategy officer

(ShareCast News) - Nadhim Zahawi has been appointed as chief strategy officer of Gulf Keystone Petroleum, the oil and gas explorer said on Monday.The London-listed company said Zahawi, who co-founded research firm YouGov, will be responsible for the evaluation of strategic options for the company and will report to chief executive Jón Ferrier."Nadhim brings a range of additional and critical skills to the company," said Ferrier."I firmly believe that the breadth and depth of his regional knowledge will prove invaluable."Gulf Keystone shares were down 3.26% to 22.25p at 1115 BST on Monday.
