(Sharecast News) - Renewable energy company Good Energy Group revealed on Thursday that chargepoint mapping service Zap-Map has struck a partnership with automotive manufacturer Nissan.

Good Energy said Zap-Map, in which it owns a controlling stake, will now see its Premium subscription services, which includes in-car support via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, will be made available to purchasers of Nissan's Electric vehicles.

"Nissan Electric vehicle purchasers can now receive three years' free subscription to Zap-Map's Premium service. The subscription partnership offer applies to private and business orders for new Nissan EV passenger cars," said Good Energy.

Separately, Good Energy said it had decided to offer shareholders the opportunity to receive its recently recommended 0.75p dividend per ordinary share in the form of new shares in the company as an alternative to a cash.

As of 1315 BST, Good Energy shares were down 0.78% at 253.0p.
