Go-Ahead gets green light for Plymouth deal

Bus and train group Go Ahead Group has completed the acquisition of Plymouth CityBus from Plymouth City Council.The council ratified the takeover, first announced on November 23.The enterprise value of the transaction is £20m and gives Go-Ahead 100% control of Plymouth CityBus. Plymouth CityBus operates a fleet of 173 buses and 11 coaches from a large freehold depot in the centre of Plymouth, carrying around 14 million passengers each year across a wide network in and around the city.
