FTSE 250 movers: Talvivaara shines after production hike

Talvivaara Mining is in demand after the nickel and zinc miner set production records in the third quarter.In the third quarter nickel production rose 18% from the preceding quarter to 3,211 tonnes. Zinc production rose 36% from the second quarter to 7,557 tonnes.Fenner is higher after a bit of reshuffling at the top of conveyer belt maker. Mark Abrahams swaps his CEO hat for the chairman's role, handing over the reins to company man Nick Hobson.Software specialist Micro Focus is under pressure after saying revenue this year will be similar to last year's $453m following mixed results over the first half.Engineering software firm AVEVA saw a return to growth in sales and profits at the interim stage. Revenue in the six months to the end of September rose 12% to £78.5m from £69.9m at the interim stage last year. That was ahead of broker Panmure Gordon's forecast of £77m.
