Newly-listed fashion retailer SuperGroup has signalled its intent saying the new financial has year started well and is in line with company expectations as it quadrupled full year pre-tax profit. The statement sent the shares up nearly 15%.The group, which joined the stock market in March 2010 and operates the SuperDry label, said underlying pre-tax profit rose to £26.5m in the 52 weeks ended 2 May 2010 from £7.9m the same time a year before. Group revenue jumped to £139.4m from £76.1m previously.Dimension Data is the best performer though. Japanese telecommunication Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) has agreed to buy the South African IT firm for £2.12bn in cash.
