FTSE 250 movers: Ophir rises after positive Deutsche Bank rating

Ophir Energy was a strong riser after Deutsche Bank reiterated its 'buy' rating on the stock despite it posting wider annual losses. The group fell sharply in yesterday's session after it said it had failed to encounter significant hydrocarbons at the Padouck Deep-1 well in the Ntsina block offshore Gabon. Savills, the real estate services provider, climbed after it delivered a 35% increase in annual pre-tax profit to £70.1m for the year ended December 31st, while revenue rose to a record £904.8m from £806.4m the year before. Underlying profits were up 28%.Electronics distributor Premier Farnell saw shares rise after it revealed it had hit annual targets with operating profits flat and earnings mostly recovered from their first-half losses. Revenue increased 2% to £968m with sales per day up 2.6% during the year, but stronger in the second half at 4.4%. Adjusted profits were down 4.1% to £45.5m and earnings down 2.1% to 14.3p per share as the operating margin, as expected, slipped to 9.6%.Meanwhile, Partnership Assurance continued to fall one day after it said new business premiums fell in 2013 as customers booked products ahead of a string of regulatory reforms coming into force in 2012. Canaccord Genuity reduced its target price on the stock from 355p to 130p and stayed with its 'hold' recommendation.Intu Properties shares fell as the group announced a rights issue to raise around £488m in net proceeds for the acquisition of three shopping centres. Ladbrokes declined after the Chancellor revealed an increase in gaming machine taxation next year. Citi cut its target price from 110p to 90p and stayed with its 'sell' recommendation, while Credit Suisse pointed out that Ladbrokes is particularly exposed to the changes.
