South Africa-focused Lonmin, the world's third largest platinum producer, has released its final results for the year ended on September 30th.The company's underlying profit before tax improved to $158m (£98.75m) from $57m a year ago. Online gambling outfit 888 rose after it, along with Atlantic Limited and AAPN Energy, was been granted a transactional waiver by the regulatory authorities in the US state of New Jersey, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), to act as online casino gaming services provider to Caesars Interactive Entertainment.Rathbone Brothers rose after announcing that a court had ruled in its favour over litigation relating to an insurance claim over a Jersey fund and one of its former employees and directors. Meanwhile, Cobham's shares fell after the British defence and aerospace supplier reduced its 2014 revenue forecast. The company said it now expects revenue in 2014 to decline, down from a previous forecast for modest growth, due to tight US government spending on the defence sector.
