Dixons Retail, the electrical retailer and services group, saw its shares climb after it announced an agreement to sell Webhallen to Komplett As, a Norwegian based e-commerce company for a cash consideration of approximately SEK140m. The sale of Webhallen, a subsidiary of PIXmania S.A.S, is expected to be completed by the end of May. African Barrick Gold got a boost after Deutsche Bank upped its target price from 173p to 180p, staying with its hold recommendation. As on the top tier index, miners were taking a hit on the back of US home-sales figures which showed an unexpected decline in March.
