FTSE 250 movers: Bwin.party rises despite wider H1 losses

Gaming giant Bwin.party was a strong riser despite reporting wider first-half losses, which reflected a fall in casino and poker revenues. Loss before tax in the six months to 30 June 2014 came to €94m, up from €11.6 the previous year.Ophir was higher after it announced board changes in a bid to reduce costs on Thursday. Entertainment One headed north on the news it has completed the acquisition of Canadian television producer Force Four Productions.Technological company Exova saw its revenue go down in the first-half due to headwinds in aerospace and transportation sectors. The company's revenue dropped in the first half to £134.7m against £138.4m last year, while operating profit declined 86.5% at £2.1m.Xaar extended Thursday's loses, which came after the industrial printing group delivered disappointing interim results, with full year expectations downgraded for the second time this summer. Online grocer Ocado continued to slide one day after Redburn analysts issued a 'sell' recommendation, slashed their price target from 500p to 257p and reduced their sales forecasts.The Restaurant Group fell after it said it took a hit from the World Cup, while extra costs associated with the end took the shine off a revenue boost from the global event at online sports rights owner Perform Group.
