Shares in Aquarius Platinum are in demand despite declines elsewhere in the mining sector after the company said it is to buy mineral rights in an area next to its own operations in the Eastern limb of South Africa's Bushveld Complex. Oil and gas group JKX Oil & Gas, Exillon Energy and Salamander Energy are on the decline.Software group Logica is performing well after it said it expects to see sales ahead of the market in 2011 following strong growth in revenues and orders in the three months to 31 March. Retailers are in demand following large gains from their blue chip peers on the FTSE 100, led by Next which reported a 5.2% increase in total sales (excluding VAT) in the first quarter. Argos and Homebase owner Home Retail Group, department store Debenhams and electronics retailer Dixons are all firmer.Property web site operator Rightmove is under the weather as the growth in page views on the site slowed down in the first quarter of 2011.Price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com said it remains confident in prospects for the full year as consumers increasingly use its website to look for the best deals.
