Royal Bank of Scotland is higher on hopes that it can exit the governemnt's toxic asset scheme. RBS is reportedly in talks with the Treasury. BAE Systems is acquiring the 91.3% of Fairchild Imaging that it does not own for $86m. Fairchild supplies imaging components and cameras. It generated revenues of $42.6m in 2009. BAE says that Fairchild fits in with its existing electro-optics and night vision operations. Autonomy has added more customers today. The latest are a US law firm and communications provider Verizon. The New York Public Service Commission has made a verbal statement about the increase in distribution and transmission rates for National Grid's US operation Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. A return on equity of 9.1% has been offered. There will be an increase in delivery revenue of $112.7m, of which $50m is temporary until a review of costs.
