FTSE 100 movers: Oil stocks fall; Computacenter gains

(Sharecast News) - London' FTSE 100 was up 0.1% at 10,692.62 in afternoon trade on Friday.

In what marked a pretty quiet end to the week, Computacenter was the top performer on the index, closely followed by Lion Finance Group and Abrdn.

On the downside, Ithaca Energy, BP and Shell all fell as oil prices eased back from highs amid growing hopes that US and Iranian negotiators, who are currently meeting in New York, will be able to find a path forward.

Tobacco stocks were also in the red, with British American Tobacco and Imperial Brands among the worst performers.
