Insulation, roofing and commercial interior products supplier SIG issues its interim results on Friday, with the Interiors Manufacturing and Energy Management businesses in UK and Ireland expected to let the side down in terms of growth.Trading in the first four months of the year was ahead of last year, when trading was hit in the early part of 2010 by poor weather. Comparisons got tougher from March onwards.Overseas, SIG's principal markets in mainland Europe got off to a good start, with the exception of Benelux, which was facing challenging conditions. The group has been selling off peripheral parts of the business, such as its work wear unit and scaffolding division, to focus on its core activities.
