Friday sees Experian report on what is expected to be a challenging first quarter (Q1) for the credit reporting company.Broker Liberum said this will represent "the worst quarter" for the FTSE 100 group in its 2015 financial year as a result of subdued trading in Latin American credit, due to the World Cup, and a worsening of the recent decline in its US consumer business. It expects organic growth to be broadly flat or even negative in Q1, down from 3% growth in the final quarter of last year. "We understand the Brazilian credit bureau has seen significantly lower volumes on Brazil match days - the longer Brazil remain in the tournament the longer this will continue," Liberum said in a note put out before the host country's 7-1 spanking at the hands of Germany. The US Consumer business shrank 6% in Q4 of 2013 and is thought likely to have worsened as it transitions from free sites to Experian.com brand. Also in the financials sector, the much more UK-focused moneysupermarket.com is due to put out a trading statement.Broker Numis has a 'reduce' rating on the FTSE 250 group as it believes the market is ascribing too much of a premium to the shares in spite of a "significant potential threat from Google".It estimates that MONY derives as much as 40% of EBITDA from visitors who come via Google, but that the search engine itself "appears to want to capture a greater share of the price comparison value chain".
