(Sharecast News) - Personal injury (PI) and clinical negligence (CN) professional services specialist Frenkel Topping announced a partnership between Cardinal Management and the John Radcliffe Hospital, a major trauma centre run by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, on Thursday.

The AIM-traded firm said the partnership was a significant milestone for Cardinal, expanding the reach of its services to a greater number of patients in need.

Following a lengthy period of engagement, it said Cardinal had secured a partnership with the John Radcliffe Hospital, bringing the total number of major trauma centres to 10.

Frenkel Topping acquired Cardinal in January last year - a move that allowed the group to establish a direct link to claimants and their professional representatives at the earliest stage after serious injury or illness.

The connection not only benefits the clients in the PI and CN litigation space, but also provides claimants with access to the portfolio of FTG services in a relevant and timely manner.

For the past seven years, Cardinal has operated the Major Trauma Signposting Partnership, which had assisted more than 8,000 patients at NHS Major Trauma Centres.

"The new partnership with John Radcliffe hospital, the second in as many months, is testament to the hard work and dedication from Andrew and his team at Cardinal," said chief executive officer Richard Fraser.

"With such a rigorous due diligence process, this achievement demonstrates our team's expertise and capabilities showcases the strength of our business.

"Bringing the number of partnerships to 10 across the nation, this allows us to extend our reach to support even more patients immediately after traumatic injury, through support from the Cardinal team and their partnership with the Frenkel Topping Charitable Foundation."

At 1057 BST, shares in Frenkel Topping Group were up 2.4% at 64p.
