Forties Aug Program 12M Bbl, Down 5.4M Bbl On Mo -Trade

LONDON (Dow Jones)--The August loading program for North Sea Forties Blend crude oil is scheduled at 12 million barrels, down 5.4 million barrels from July, a trader said Friday. August's program consists of 20 standard 600,000 barrel cargoes. It is equivalent to 387,097 barrels a day, compared with 561,290 barrels a day in July. The decline in output is partly due to planned maintenance at some oil fields, traders said. There are over 50 oil fields making up Forties blend, with the Buzzard field the largest component field, operated by Canadian energy company Nexen Inc.(NXY).
