(ShareCast News) - Private & Commercial Finance Group (P&C) has appointed former Bank of England accountant David Bull as its finance director.Bull, who has worked in the same role at Hampshire Trust Bank and as interim chief financial accountant at the Bank of England (BoE), will take up the role on 3 August.He will succeed Zane Kerse, who will step down at the end of July, but remain present for a handover period until the end of August."I am delighted to welcome David to the group. His experience in recent years at Hampshire Trust Bank and, before that, at the Bank of England will be of significant value to us as we continue to grow and as we progress our banking licence application," said chief executive of PCFG Scott Maybury."I would also again like to place on record our gratitude to Zane for his diligence and financial stewardship through a critical period for the group which he joined in 2001 as financial controller, before becoming finance director in 2008," he added.As of 9:30 BST, P&C was trading 3.6% higher at 20p.
