By Thomas Coyle Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Wealth-management firm Fiduciary Trust Company International has hired Mary Davey as a senior relationship manager and Lisa Marcus as a business-development officer in its New York office. Davey, a wealth manager for 25 years, comes to Fiduciary Trust from Morgan Stanley's (MS) family-wealth group. She has also worked at U.S Trust, now a part of Bank of America (BAC), the private bank of Chemical Bank, now part of JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Citigroup (C). Marcus, another 25-year veteran, joins Fiduciary Trust from Barclays Wealth Management, a position she came to through Barclays PLC's (BCS) 2008 takeover of Lehman Brothers' U.S. brokerage. Before joining Lehman in June 2007, she spent nearly 20 years at U.S. Trust. Davey reports to Debra Feeks, head of relationship management for Fiduciary Trust. Marcus reports to Luke Fowler, director of business development. Early this year, Fiduciary Trust hired four managing directors and a vice president in New York and in San Mateo, Calif. New York-headquartered Fiduciary Trust is a subsidiary of San Mateo-based Franklin Resources Inc. (BEN), which uses the brand name Franklin Templeton Investments.
