Ferrexpo receives $41.8m from sale of Ferrous Resources stake

Ferrexpo has received $41.8m following the completion of its disposal from its stake in Ferrous Resources.The iron ore company announced back in April that it was selling its entire 15.1% stake in the iron ore company to IEP Ferrous Brazil.Ferrexpo previously said the sum received would represent a profit of $41.8m for the relevant period.It intends to use any proceeds for general corporate purposes.
