(Sharecast News) - Iron Ore pellet maker Ferrexpo said first quarter production fell to 2.53m tonnes from 2.58m a year earlier.Total production fell 11% quarter on quarter, with output of 65% Fe pellets down 5.3% compared with the final three months of 2018.First quarter production of 65% Fe pellets from own ore was 2.43m, in line with 2018's 2.42m tonnes.In 2018, Ferrexpo produced 10.6m tonnes of pellets, up 2% year on year, ranking it as the third largest exporter of pellets to the global steel industry with a market share of approximately 8.5%.
