Ukraine-focused iron ore producer Ferrexpo delivered record production volumes in 2013 despite a small dip in output in the final quarter.Total pellet production in the fourth quarter totalled 2.77m tonnes, down 1.3% on third-quarter output of 2.80m tonnes, as growth in lower grade ore (62% Fe) production was offset by a fall in the higher grade output (65% Fe).Nevertheless, the Switzerland-headquartered miner said it still produced the highest level of 65% Fe pellets in company history during 2013.Ferrexpo produced a total of 10.81m tonnes for 2013, up 11.6% on 2012 when it produced 9.69m tonnes. 65% Fe production rose 19.5% in 2013 to 4.99m tonnes, while 62% Fe production was up 5.6% at 5.83m tonnes.Pellet production from own ore increased by 11.2% year-on-year to 10.5m tonnes.BC
