Falanx Group selected as SolarWinds Threat Monitoring Service Provider

(Sharecast News) - Cybersecurity and intelligence provider Falanx Group has been selected by SolarWinds MSP as the first 'SolarWinds Threat Monitoring Service Provider' (TMSP) for the UK and South Africa, it announced on Wednesday.The AIM-traded company described SolarWinds as a "global leader" in delivering IT service management solutions to IT solution providers and managed service providers.In its role, Falanx said it would support SolarWinds MSP as they looked to help enable their MSP customers to leverage more advanced security services.Specifically, Falanx would serve as a threat monitoring service provider for the delivery and support of SolarWinds Threat Monitoring Service, which it said was designed to help enable proactive security monitoring in conjunction with Falanx's combined cybersecurity services to MSPs.Falanx would meet SolarWinds MSP and its clients at customer conferences in Manchester, London, Cape Town and Johannesburg in November, and at the Empower MSP event in Scottsdale, Arizona, this month to describe and discuss the delivery of combined security services and technology to the attendant SolarWinds MSP clients and partners."We are extremely proud to be associated with SolarWinds, who, having made the strategic decision to launch the Threat Monitoring Service Program, have appointed Falanx as one of their first threat monitoring service providers," said Falanx chairman and chief executive officer Mike Read."As an MSSP, Falanx has been selling through MSPs for the last two years, enabling them to offer our portfolio of security services directly to their customers."This programme is a transformational event for our business, and potentially accelerates our access to the UK and South Africa MSP communities through a new MDR service, which complements our current MidGARD offering."
