Enquest's oil production in the first four months of the year rose 25 per cent to 25,597 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), according to a trading update on Friday.Output was driven by the Thistle/Deveron project which continued to benefit from the new production well which came onstream in the second half and from improvements in power supply. An increase in production at the Dons and Alba projects also helped to lift total boepd. The UK-based firm reiterated its production guidance of an average of between 25,000 boepd and 30,000 boepd for the full year. Chief Executive Amjad Bseisu, said: "Production of 25,597 Boepd to the end of April marks a good start to the year, reflecting strong reservoir and production efficiency performances from all of EnQuest's hubs, and from Thistle in particular."RD
