Eckoh Renews Contract With Enterprise Rent-A-Car

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Voice recognition specialist Eckoh PLC (ECK.LN) Monday said it has renewed a contract to provide its speech-enabled locator service to customers of car hire firm Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Eckoh didn't give any financial details of the deal and didn't say by how long the contract had been extended but said its EckohLOCATE software will continue to be used by callers searching for their nearest branch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Callers can say the name of their town and Eckoh's software will identify the nearest Enterprise branch within a five mile radius. It also provides details like the branch's address, opening hours and contact information as well as allowing the option to connect through directly to the branch.
