Director dealings: Travis Perkins CFO lowers stake

(Sharecast News) - Travis Perkins' chief financial officer Alan Williams disposed of 7,214 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250 builders' merchant on Thursday.Williams, who joined Travis Perkins back in January 2017, sold the shares at an average price of 1,098.77p each, collecting a total of £79,265.32 in the process.Travis Perkins lifted the lid on its new strategy earlier in December, saying it would focus on "serving trade customers through advantaged businesses in attractive markets", and simplify the group to reduce complexity and cost to drive returns.It also said at the time that the fundamental long-term growth drivers of the business remained robust, but shorter-term market conditions remained uncertain, impacting secondary housing market transactions and consumer confidence.
