Director dealings: THG chief buys, gives away £0.82m of shares

(Sharecast News) - Online retail group THG was at the top of the list of director buys on Wednesday, after its chief executive officer gifted shares to a number of his friends.

The company said Matthew Moulding bought 1,169,000 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

He paid 70.23 for each share, spending £820,973.52 in the process.

The THG board said Moulding "immediately gifted" 1,169,000 shares to "various friends", for nil consideration.

It said none of the friends were classified as persons closely associated with Moulding under dealing regulations.
