Director dealings: Reabold chairman tightens grip

(ShareCast News) - Reabold Resources chairman Jeremy Edelman bought another 5m shares in the AIM-quoted natural resources investor to take his stake in the company up to 46%Australian lawyer Edelman, a serial AIM director with experience at Altona Resources, Leni Gas & Oil and Braemore Resources, is by far the largest investor in the company and his Saltwind investment vehicle now owns 149m shares in the business after the 0.4p-per-share purchase, which cost him £20,000. This left him £4,000 spare after his year's remuneration from the company, according to recently published annual accounts.Published at the end of last week, the calendar 2015 accounts for Reabold, which adopted its current name in December 2014 after its collapse and insolvency as Adventis Group in 2012, showed a £104,000 loss for the 12 months ended 31 December, down slightly from the £118,000 in 2014. Net assets as at 31 December were £624,000, up from £424,000 over the year, while the company had cash of £481,000, which was topped up in January with an additional placing of 40m shares a price of 0.5p apiece that raised £200,000 "for working capital purposes". According to the accounts, the company seems to have just one investment, of 5m shares in Mogul Ventures Corp, a private company focused on natural resources in Mongolia, principally in tin.Edelman said in a statement in the accounts that the board, which consists of him and one other director, "is moving forward positively to drive shareholder value through the investment strategy" and "believes there are positive cyclical investment opportunities in resources stocks" but "will evaluate investment opportunities in other sectors as they arise".
